The Need is Great
April Showers is Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri’s largest community service program that provides personal care items, not covered by government assistance programs, like shampoo, toothpaste, diapers and first aid supplies to individuals in need across eastern Missouri.
The first weekend, Girl Scouts go door to door distributing sticky notes on doors to announce the start of April Showers. Girl Scouts may also be seen outside area stores collecting person care items.
The second weekend, Girl Scouts return to collect any donations of personal care items. There is also the option for the community to donate online through one of our registries.
